Was introduced to this local stalwart of a restaurant through a friend who lives in Siem Reap. Quickly became my favourite working/people watching location. Located on a street corner a block away from Pub Street, the vibe here is mild Parisian boulevarde: wicker chairs, arched entrances and high ceiling fans. Very Graham Greene in Hanoi. The food and menu are extensive with great value in terms of quality and portion sizes. I spent most of my time grazing the starters menu while working away on the laptop and fuelling myself on the very affordable but excellent classic margaritas. The breakfast menu is also good. If you work online and are in Siem Reap for any extended period, give Viva! a try. The vibe, atmosphere, food and staff are all very welcoming. ~ David C

Heel mooi om te zien hoe men hier aandacht heeft voor het opleiden van het personeel. Ze moeten iets leren, en dat is voor mij als klant prettig om te zien. Daarnaast een erg mooie sfeer. Lekkere drankjes voor hele mooie prijzen. Wij hielden hier onze vrijdagmiddag borrel met veel plezier🥳. Eenvoudig en lekker gegeten. Wij gaan zeker terugkomen. Dank jullie wel! ~ Roel

午後の休憩でちょっとだけ行きました。タコス$1.5🌮とカクテル(マルガリータは$2.5)のお得な価格のメニューがあり、安くお酒を楽しめて大満足です。他の方のレビュー通りの良いお店でした。タコスは硬いものと柔らかいものが選べ、中のお肉もビーフとチキンとポークから好きなお肉を選んで注文できました。また行きたいお店です。マルガリータはパイナップルやストロベリーなど色々なフレーバーが選べますが、私はオーソドックスなマルガリータが美味しいと思います。 ~ ナニモタベサセテモラッテナイ

Recibí mi comida de este restaurant a través de food panda, calientita y deliciosa, la tortillas de los tacos me encanto, no son las típicas bimbo que usan la mayoría de los restaurantes aquí. Vielfältiges Speisenangebot, von kambodschanischer Küche bis hin zu mexikanischen Gerichten, aber auch einfach nur Pommes. Vorspeisen ab 2$, Hauptspeisen ab ca. 5$, Draft Bier 1,25$. Nettes, schnelles und aufmerksames Personal. Ambiente erinnert ein bisschen an eine kubanische Bodega, vielleicht auch mexikanisch, aber auf jeden Fall im Kolonialstil. ~ Thomas G

En general es un sitio recomendable. La comida esta bastante buena, tiene cerveza de barril fria y la jarra está helada. El personal es amable y eficiente. El cafe esta muy bueno! El precio algo mas alto que otros restaurantes camboyanos pero aun asi es barato. Recomendable. (La ensalada de mango pica, al loro). ~ Diego V

On est resté 3 soir à siem Reap, dès le premier nous avons manger ici. C'était excellent, le lendemain nous y sommes retourné, et ça c'est confirmé ! On a même regretter de ne pas y être aller le dernier jour. Excellent repas, large choix, vraiment abordable et personnel très sympa ! ~ Magma _

Had a really good margarita, chips and salsa (not enough salsa but they brought more when I requested it), and the viva beef burrito plate. Everything was tasty! The salsa is delicious and beef was so tender and well seasoned. Seems like they make the chips in house and could be the same with the tortillas for the burrito as well, tasted so soft and fresh! My friends liked all of their food too. Enchiladas, fried banana split, hard shell tacos... Would definitely have gone again if I was in Siem Reap longer. Prices were reasonable too. Najlepsze jedzenie jakie kiedykolwiek jadłam! Rewelacyjne smaki. Jak nigdy zjadałam całe porcje, bo było tak pyszne. I kmerskie i meksykańskie jedzonko równie smaczne. Obsługa miła. Czas oczekiwania niezbyt długi. Ceny niskie. ~ Jolek

A nice mexican spot located right in the heart of town in a beautiful building. The staff was friendly and attentive as well. They had a good selection of mexican food with a wider menu than I've seen at some of the other ones I've been to around the country. They were the first one with a chimichanga! I needed to get it and it was amazing! I got the steak and it was thick cut pieces of real steak, and tender. The Spanish rice was good but on the weaker side. However overall very authentic and better than a lot you can get in the States! ~ Cameron J

If you love Mexican food, Viva Mexican Restaurant is an absolute must-visit. The restaurant has a beautiful open-air setting with fans that keeps everything comfortable, and it’s spotless throughout. The staff are beyond lovely and make you feel genuinely welcome. The restaurant has been hit hard with lower tourism, so it’s well worth supporting while you’re in town. The beef nachos were fantastic, and you definitely can’t go past the $2.50 margaritas. Great food, great atmosphere, and wonderful people, highly recommend stopping in. ~ Wanderlust T

Best bar/restaurant in pub street and maybe entire Siem Reap. Mexican food is superb and dirt cheap. Cocktails were 1.5$ until 10pm, all of them and they were quite good. You’ll find a better passionfruit mojito some here else but the basics are really good and for that price you can have a few. Would recommend this place! We came here 4-5 times in about as many days, sometimes just for drinks but its hard to pass on their superb taco’s (1.5$ each as well) ~ b

Nous avons été dans ce restaurant pour petit déjeuner et déjeuner. Les plats mexicains (et autres) sont très bons et copieux. Les prix pratiqués sont tout à fait raisonnables au vu des autres restaurants environnants de Siem Reap. ~ charly m

A friend of mine recommended I find this place while in Siem Reap and man oh-man, was it one hell of an experience. I won't call myself an expert on Mexican food, but good food is good food, and this was one of my best Mexican food experiences yet. The nachos had bits of corn-kernels in it, that's how authentic it was. My wife and I had a chimichanga and quesadillas that tasted like heaven. I have been coming to Sim rep for 25 years and I think Viva has always been around. It is a classic. Great staff, value for money cocktails and tasty food and snacks with a Mexican theme. Any member of the family would be pleased. I have been there twice in the last three weeks with friends, and to be honest it was hard to leave. The slightest disappointment is that there hasn’t been a lick of orange paint around the base of all the columns to give it a little freshen up. VIVA FEVER !! ~ Nicholas C

It's quite a surprise to taste this food. My grandmother makes the best authentic Mexican food, but I loved this location's take on traditional Mexican dishes so much that my friends and I had dinner there three times in the five days we were in Siem Reap. The happy hour is the best too. Get the nachos and the shredded chicken taco. It's a ton of food so you can share with a friend. Also you can beat 75 cent margaritas. ~ Abi G
